A
full range of brickwork repair, restoration and repointing works are carried
out by our skilled operatives, using both traditional and modern brickwork
methods to suit all requirements. Where applicable, works are carried out
in accordance with guide lines set down by English Heritage, CADW and Local
Conservation Departments.
REBUILDING; Dismantling sections of defective brickwork and rebuilding using existing materials where possible supplemented with new to match existing.
ALTERATIONS: In many circumstances openings have to be formed or bricked up to suit Clients requirements. This can be carried out using materials sourced to match the existing and blend in with the surrounding brickwork.
REPOINTING: Works carried out using various techniques and materials
depending on the individual property. We are also skilled in traditional methods
of mortar removal and repointing using lime mortars and the use of gun applied
techniques.
REPLACEMENT: Where required individual bricks / sections can be taken
out and replaced with new or reclaimed bricks to closely match the existing.
REPAIRS: Our repair service incorporates natural and cementicious colour matching material. Colouring can be toned to suit the individual bricks.
